Compared with epoxy resin electronic potting glue, the potting glue has high hardness after curing, easy to strain electronic components, poor resistance to cold and heat change, and prone to small cracks in the process of cold and heat change, affecting moisture resistance, and temperature resistance is only -10℃ ~ 120℃. Generally, it is only suitable for electronic equipment with no special requirements for the environment.
However, silicone potting adhesives also have two disadvantages:
1, the adhesion is poor, in order to improve the adhesion with the base material when used as a potting and coating material, it is usually necessary to undercoat the base material in advance or add tackifier, which is more troublesome to use.
2, easy poisoning (not curing), silicone potting glue is a relatively environmentally friendly potting glue, platinum curing agent is more active, easy to react with other impurities, causing poisoning. However, the more famous silicone potting glue manufacturers on the market have been very good at solving this problem, the anti-toxicity of the colloid is strong, can maintain stable curing ability, and also has a certain bonding ability.
