1. Product description

    Silicone sealant for lamps is a single component, low modulus, neutral curing silicone elastic sealant designed for bonding and sealing of automotive lamps, special lighting and electronic parts. Suitable for general sealing and electrical insulation.

 4. Methods of use

◆ Determine the base material

Firstly, the factors that cannot be determined are excluded, such as certain metal coatings and paint layers.

Loose layer where sizing is required. If there is a coating or paint layer, ensure that there is sufficient adhesion.

Use a special cleaning agent to clean the parts to be gummed, so that they are clean, hard, dry and free of grease and surface dirt such as release agents, curing films and hydrophobic agents.

◆ Sizing

According to the size of the bonding surface and the gap, cut the extrusion nozzle and squeeze it out evenly. The coating amount is controlled by the size of the extrusion nozzle hole. It is appropriate to slightly extrude a rubber ring after the combination of the bonding surface. After the sealing pad is coated on the joint surface, the internal combination is quickly tightened, usually the time interval from extrusion to combination should be controlled within 3 minutes, the shorter the better, so as to avoid dry vulcanization table and can not be used.  

After the combined parts are vulcanized at 23±2℃ for 5h, they can enter the next process. The pressure test of the components should be carried out after 24 hours of vulcanization.

After vulcanization, the liquid gasket remaining on the bonding surface can be cut off with a sharp knife and lost to the adhesive film outside the bonding surface, but it is not allowed to tear by hand. It can also be wiped off with cotton gauze soaked with gasoline.

◆ Disassemble

When disassembly, the mallet can be used to knock the bonding surface along the side, and the glue on the bonding surface can be removed by copper scraper after loosening, and the cotton yarn with gasoline can also be wiped away.

 

5. Storage and shelf life

It belongs to non-dangerous goods, please store in a cool and dry place with a temperature below 27℃, shelf life is 9 months, it is recommended to use within 6 months after purchase.

 

Six, precautions

    This product is cured, but before curing should avoid contact with eyes, children; Keep the working environment area well ventilated.
